Major David Eldridge from The Salvation Army is the Chair of the NYC. Major Eldridge has formerly chaired the Prime MinisterĂ‚Â¹s Youth Homeless-ness Taskforce and the Youth Pathways Action Taskforce.
Associate Professor David MacKenzie is a leading researcher on the issue of homelessness in Australia, a former member of the Commonwealth Advisory Committee on Homelessness and an expert on youth issues and youth policy.
Ms Narelle Clay AM is CEO of Southern Youth and Family Services in Wollongong, a former chair of the Australian Federation of Homeless Organisations and the National Youth Coalition on Homelessness and has served on several national committees and taskforces.
Father Wally Dethlefs was one of the three commissioners on the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission inquiry in 1989 ('the Burdekin Inquiry') and over many years, has played a leading role in the Queensland youth sector.
